Logic is the new Love

All the major religions of the world are based on lazy thought. Note I’m not attacking their spirituality; more the hierarchical dogma of it all. Be good or you will burn forever. That kind of thing. Worship me or I will have my yes men burn you. Trust the man in the hat with the big special book for he holds the key. And 20 virgins for each man who believeth in me. As it was written. Punydom. The streets are lined with diamonds and ruby’ and you know it baby, gold. God is good. God is shiny. Perfect breasts for anyone who wants them. God is very, very, very good. Fat people will be made skinny in his kingdom of pure love. Everyone gets to be Elvis. It’s just all round brilliant.

I like mocking it. That’s just the way I am. Primitive is one of my favourite words. Inferior – that’s another word I love to use when I’m talking about all the lazy religious institutions of the world. Backward, vulgar, puny, ignorant, – so many lovely words spring to mind when I endeavour to twist my head around all the variables that carry their gloom. It’s an ‘ecumenical’ matter. I love that word best. I guess it tries to denote something outside the rest of us. Something only priests and popes can understand. Something divine and above us, and yet in relation to the a priori structures of linguistics, it has about as much footing in real spirituality as monarchy does with the concept of oneness. It’s like trying to place the word bastard in the same sentence as baby.

People constantly tell me to preach love. Love is the way they tell me over, love is the way. No I tell them, love is an outcome; logic is in-fact the way. Love might be the song, but logic is its foundational tuner. Without it the song just turns to discord as history as shown. In a manner one could think of logic as a kind of subjective balancing device that allows one to weigh up the world around them, in accordance with all the axiomatic variables that play us as an order onto ourselves, in this multi dimensional verse we call home.

Logic is the root of all good things I tell anyone who hasn’t fully grasped the tool for its whole complexity. And anyone who operates outside its boundaries, I go on to tell them, no matter how lovely they are, is backwards. It is a complexity of such natural beauty it over shadows all ugly. On a single page bibles disappear. Based on the axioms of intuitions I tell them, as their eyes fall towards mine in the realisation they are suddenly up against a heavy weight from the next paradigm, there is no grounding for anything in this universe, without logic. And based on the ontology of our phenomenological complexity I sometimes go on to say; as I assure them that some of us are already light years beyond their little thunder god stories.

One can preach love and still be backwards. Check the entire history of Catholicism if you need any referencing. On the other hand, if one carries their mind into the day through logic, the outcome is invariable one of love. Millions have preached love and yet kept their brothers down. Black women have been spat on by men of love. Iraqi babies have been blown up in the name of love. On the other hand logic has been the opposing factor in objecting to all the negatives our beautiful species have been faced with through out time.

Every positive action ever taken has been built on the back of logic. If one builds a temple without a foundation it falls. If one creates a social structure without the natural ontological foundation that supports our mind and body, it falls. It falls, it falls it fails, it fails it fuckin falls. Logic has always led to a positive outcome for people.

Logic helps us stay on top of things when it comes to how we view the world, and more importantly, how we lend our views to the world at large. It helps us figure out why Ghandi was a good man and hitler was a loon. By considering all the variables in any given situation presented, logic allows us to draw out the essence of each case so as to isolate our thoughts around the most obvious outcome. By running our minds apparatus against the intended or unintended outcomes of a situation, or the compatible and incompatible states of affairs of each situation; by considering all the factors that make up the total composition; all the factors in relation to all the happenings and how it all went down, and so on, we arrive at an intelligent end. Ironically I think I lost myself in that stream, but you get the overall picture if you think logically.

I love the idea of one world filled with love and happiness. I believe that someday this is the world we will live. Tomorrow’ lovely children will get to be without the shackles of illusion. However, today’ reality is today’ reality. I’m never out to hurt anyone, but so many people are walking around out there in fairy land without any consideration as to how dangerous the world of illusion actually is. So I feel I have no choice but to slap them in the mind hard. And well if they bite my head off for stating the obvious, well then so be it. The illogical always eat the logical anyhow.

Logic is beautiful and it is an amazing tool. It gives us insight in the atoms and it allows us to land robots on Mars. It gave birth to our alphabet. It gave birth to ideas such as equality and justice. It helps the intelligent mind separate thought from the silly. It is the seed of tomorrow. It is a bridge over troubled waters. And although it may not be the end in itself, it really is the only way we are getting there. Pure a priori logic dictates this, but that’s another complex story.

Logic = people above burgers. Logic = people above corporations. Logic = no war. Logic = us as a cosmic intelligence. Logic = something beyond the empirical. Logic = rainforests in their pristine coat. Logic = balance over imbalance. Logic = Thoreau and not tit. Logic = Zen. Logic = hippy, happy, BuddHA, hugs, Amma, Chomsky, Zinn, King, dance, butterfly, clean sky, pure water, one world, one way, one. Logic = love. Peace.
